The morning sun poured in through the open draperies and fell across the bed with warmth and comforting heat. He'd only just dozed off, but when a demon sleeps, he does it with panache. He'd really gone under

It was some while before Kiki woke, slowly, drifting gradually into awareness. The bed was comfortable - definitely not her dorm-room mattress - and she shifted a little, nestling her face into the pillow and curling her hand into the soft, smooth fabric of the sheets.
It was a moment before she realized there was warmth in this bed that did not eminate from her own body - that some of that warmth came from a hand against her back - which was bare - because she wasn't in her own pajamas, but in something much different - and the soft sheets felt more like...feathers.
Kiki's eyes flickered open. And her face was absolutely, positively and certainly not nestled into an ordinary pillow.

Phoebe woke up slowly, and with a splitting headache. It took her a few moments to rememeber what had happened and then she opened her eyes.
She was in bed and laying on Crowley's shoulder. This wasn't that unusual. What was unusual was that she was wearing something that did not exist in her own wardrobe...and she was looking at Kiki.
"We didn't drink last night... did we?" she whispered, trying not to disturb Crowley.
She swallowed. "Head hurts," she whispered then, not sure if she should try to get up or stay laying down.

"Uhm...no," Kiki said, raising her head, but she didn't sound terribly certain about that. "It was the Spirit Board - some sort of backlash. Mr. Crowley made me stay..." she trailed off, looking at the dozing demon.
It was a delayed reaction, probably due to the turmoil in his mind or his mun sleeping, but Bel sensed something was wrong with Phoebe. Something very wrong. Fighting off panic, he shimmered to her room at the Arms.

Cole stared at the scene before him. All of Phoebe's words of love and soulmates, here she was lying in bed with another man. And woman. He turned around without a word and stalked out of the room.

Kiki sighed and closed her eyes, resting her head against Phoebe's, leaning against the black feathers of Crowley's wing.
"If I didn't know you were soulmates, Phoebe," she said sadly, "I think I'd be forced to ask you what you see in him."
She was quiet a moment, and when she spoke again, she sounded much more like ordinary, bashful Kiki, the sharp and powerful tone of anger completely gone from her voice and manner.
"Um, Mr. Crowley? Just, um...where did my clothes go, anyway?"

"But I wasn't wearing this!" Kiki blushed.
Kiki jumped, startled, as Bel suddenly shimmered into the room.

"Cole?" she whispered, trying not to wake up Crowley. She shot a panicked look to Kiki and then looked at Cole.
"Nothing happened..." I think.

"I'm not entirely certain, pest. But I can get them back if you like."

Kiki couldn't believe that she just told off a demon while wearing a long black satin nightie and no knickers.
