there's an option in http://www.livejournal.com/editinfo.bml to block spiders. if you check off the option, google will leave your journal's direct links in peace. otherwise you're highly likely to be googleable.

I did know that, it's just I didn't relise that my direct links were linked.

Even though I knew that google works like that.
