After an... uh, unusual awakening earlier, Hannibal had taken himself off for 'fresh air' or... whatever, which left Angela with a small over-excitable child to deal with.

It was impossible to keep Kendal cooped up in the room, without her climbing all over everything so Angela was herding her down the corridor to take her outside and make her run

Chuck had kids running all over the place. Around the school, chilling in his room, probably terrorizing the town. He knew they could handle themselves (they were Basses after all) but he would feel a little better if he knew where at least a couple were.

Which would be why he was eager to find Angela and dump Nate off on her introduce her to their son.

"Angela! There you are!" Chuck was awkwardly carrying Nate in his arms. He didn't really know how to hold kids.

Like Nate cared. He was busy finishing off a PB&J sandwich his dad made him. A sandwich that was almost forgotten about when he spotted his mom.

Angela stopped dead at that, even with Kendal still bouncing at her side and tugging on her hand.

"Oh, God, please tell me you're kidding?"

"Chuck!" Kendal waved at him with the hand she wasn't still hanging on to Angela with. "Hi hi, who's that?"
