Room 403 [Saturday, Morning]

Mar 06, 2010 16:09

Angela couldn't say she was a complete stranger to waking up in someone else's bed and honestly not remembering who they were. Normally she had more of a headache to show for the night that led to it, but... She wasn't complaining at the lack of that. The only sign that she'd been at The Lab on her Friday night was that telltale ringing in her ears ( Read more... )

If she managed to make it out of the room, she would have met someone else attempting an inconspicuous exit from the room across the hall.

Given this someone was a middle-aged blonde in a red and gray cat-suit with some fantastic cleavage, this might not have been working very well.

Even Angela had to admit that one was a little unusual, and she'd dated circus people. Her walk of shame was officially dwarfed in comparison to that.

You'll have to excuse her for pausing in her escape for a moment before she broke the silence with, "So... Do you know the way out of here?"

One of Gwen's castmates had tentacles, so really, this should have felt less odd than it did. But there you go.

Gwen straightened and leant against the wall as casually as she could. "I think it might be down this way," she said, flailing pointing in the vague direction of the stairway.

Angela finally took the time to look that way herself. "....Right. Right, that would make a lot of sense." Yes, it would. Little thing she'd missed in her distraction.

"Nice leotard."

It wasn't unusual to feel Angela getting up before him and Hannibal thought just to stay where he was and go back to sleep but if she was getting up then he was taking advantage.

"If you're going out, can you bring breakfast back?" he mumbled, still half asleep. Hey, she'd been staying for breakfast for over a year now. It wasn't a far out request.

Angela froze mid her careful attempt to remove herself and glanced back at the sleepy guy whose bed she was crawling out of.

There was a moment where she almost considered ignoring him, but she decided against that. "Breakfast?"

"Yeah, you know, breakfast. Stuff people eat in the morning," he said, stretching out a little and keeping his face in the pillow. "You're up early and all. Or you could wait a few minutes and I'll get up and go with you."

That probably wouldn't happen.

No, it didn't really look like that would be happening what with the way he was talking into his bedsheets. Which would be why Angela was still moving to take herself off.

"Oh, yeah I remember breakfast." Yeah, duh. "You want me to get you breakfast?" That was a little presumptuous for someone she didn't know, that was all.
