Question: do any one of you (my five or six friends who are reading this) mind if I move to Blogger? It's easier, as Google will host images for me, and I might update a heck of a lot more often if that's the case. Thoughts?

(Actually, for straight-up blogging stuff instead of plain old journal wankery, I'd probably say go to Blogger anyhow. I've been mirroring my journal there for a year or so now and I do prefer it for actual published stuff.)

I'd love it if you made a Blogger account. As oddriddle points out, having a blogspot account that's completely clear of LJ is a great idea. The only draw back is that it's somewhat hard to keep track of updates of other people- the best feature I find in LJ.
Let me know what your new account name is and I'll happily both link to and follow your posts there. I've got very few art links/blogs hooked up there since I'm trying to keep mine completely severed link wise to LJ.
Also, thanks much for the music you uploaded. Very nice- especially Deal in Blood

I like you and oddriddle's points about a clean sketch blog for linking to a portfolio, but I don't actually have much lj drama to avoid...I think in the span of four years or so I've had this thing, I've only posted one? maybe two? friend's locked personal things. I'm just....boring, like that. And either intensely public (to any unfortunates who are within a 30' radius of me on a daily basis) or intensely private about any drama in my life.
I love the OST for Ergo Proxy! It's really great working music, for staying in the zone and yet feeling so badass. (Actually, it reminds me a lot of both the Prodigy stuff for the Matrix movies, and the Mechwarrior (*nerdity*shutup!) soundtrack. I can upload the rest later tonight, if you'd like?

Another point about a sketch blog- less of a point for pure 2D art sketches but projects perhaps: linking. I never ever see "respectable" sources/blogs linking to an LJ if they're not on LJ themselves. It seems like if you wanted to have more of an online presence with which to get noticed and to share, Blogger would be a better bet. You may not have drama, but LJ has a very drama/un-professional aura to the whole site.

Any music you'd recommend I'd be game for checking out, esp. if it's got a strong beat to keep work happening.
