Pretty much all blog software, including LJ and Blogspot, has what's known as a feed. This will either be in RSS or Atom, which are two different formats. If you go to the bottom of your blogspot page, you'll see a link saying "Posts (Atom)", which takes you to your feed: http://captain-brushpen.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
LJ has a feature where you go to the bottom of this page, stick in a URL, give it a name, and then it turns the feed into something that can go into people's friends lists. (For instance, your userinfo says you're subscribed to dicebox_feed, which is another one.)
