Everybody's doing it. And because I know you all care (haha!) here's my review of 2005 in question/answer form.

1. What did you do in 2005 that you hadn’t done before?
Went to university, visited the Night Cat and Bennett’s Lane, wore a pair of shorts out at night

2. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A few people at work, but no one I actually care about

3. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully

4. Did you travel? Where did you go? Best holiday memory?
About the furthest I travelled from Melbourne this year was Daylesford over the Easter weekend. Oh, and Eldorado. That whole weekend constitutes a "Best Holiday Memory".

5. Best thing you bought?
My iPod!! That thing has been so worth the money. A close second is my digital camera.

6. Where did most of your money go?
Gadgets - laptop, iPod, camera. Closely followed by gigs and nights out - alcohol, taxis etc etc.

7. What do you wish you had done more of?
Study for uni, to avoid last minute panics. Sleeping.

8. What do you wish you had done less of?
Working. I resent the amount of time that takes up of my life. Oh and buying things and putting them on my credit card. I did a bit too much of that.

9. What kept you sane?
My iPod, and music in general.

10. What drove you mad?
Public transport, and waiting for trains and trams in particular. It shits me no end.

11. What made you celebrate?
The World Cup qualifier, birthdays, finishing exams.

12. What made you sad?
Not a lot really. The whole "non-break-up" was probably the low point.

13. How was your birthday this year?
Not great. It was about 35 degrees and I had to spend it at work, and then my first night of uni. Work peeps took me out for a nice lunch though.

14. What political issue stirred you the most this year?
Most of them, but probably the IR reforms were the worst.

15. Were you in love in 2005?
Yes...

16. What would you like to have in 2006 that you didn’t have this year?
More leisure time. Pretty unlikely though :(

17. What date from 2005 will be etched in your memory and why?
There’s a few that stick out - June 29, November 5, May 13. Can’t be bothered expanding on them though...

18. What song will remind you of 2005?
Steppin’ Out, anything by Kanye, the Car Song...

19. Compared to this time last year are you happier?
About the same. I’d say a 7-8 on a scale of 1-10. Life’s too short for unhappiness!!

20. Biggest achievement this year?
Completing a year of uni, and not failing!!

21. Biggest disappointment this year?
Not getting my license. It was the only New Year's resolution I had, and I couldn't even keep it :(

22. What is the one thing that would have made you more satisfied?
More sleep

23. Best new person you met this year?
All of them!! Except Zazzy, she was the worst. But seriously, to everyone reading this, (except my sis who I met quite some time ago), you are wonderful people and I'm glad to know you.

24. A valuable life lesson you learnt this year?
Good friends are all you need :) Oh, and Melbourne is the best place in the world.

The End.
