Breaking radio silence

I've been crap about keeping up with anything the last several days. I'e been swinging back and forth between depressed and manic a lot this month due to stuff that happened this time of year two years ago, plus all sorts of other bullshit. And I really don't like making too many posts about how emotionally/mentally unstable I can be at times ( Read more... )

Thanks. I hope so too. It sucks so much, doesn't it? :( The only plus is that when I"m manic I like to organize things, so my files become easier to find.

=3= I get the cleanies right before a period. Luckily, I'm pretty well controlled on meds in terms of depression/dysthymia/etc, so if I ever get manic, it's because of too much stress, too many period hormones overriding the system, or both. ;_;

Hang in there, bro.

I'm generally pretty controlled, but yeah, there's been a lot of stress, which makes it a bit hard for my meds to override. And I did just finish up having my period, which may or may not have anything to do with it.

However, I am rapid-cycling bipolar, so my manic states aren't full on mania, but they're definitely above normal.

Oh bb, I hope you feel better soon. ;-; I get those type of feelings too so I kind of have an idea what you must be feeling. :( I seriously hope you feel better soon. *hugs*

Oh God, Top Chef I haven't watched the last 2 (?) seasons. I think I stopped during the Vegas season. All I remember is watching the first couple of seasons with my mom, then my mom explaining absolutely every little thing about the food and how it actually tastes (My mom worked in a bunch of fine dining restaurants in Veags when we used to live there, specifically Wolfgang Puck's Spago's the last couple of years.) and sometimes actually making it. Which was awesome, I loved it when my mom used to cook. ;-;

Uhhh I'll go over there now.

Thanks. *hugs*

Yeah, there was Vegas and DC you missed plus Top Chef Masters 2 and Top Chef Just Desserts. And that is so cool! My brother is the only other one in the family that really understands half of what they're talking about.

There we go, I always forget about DC. Oh I think I watched a bit of TC Masters 2. I think. I'm telling you, half of the time I'd be watching & thinking "wow this looks delish but I have no clue what these things are". ISN'T IT AMAZING WHEN FOOD IS EXPLAINED? IDK I WOULD CRY BECAUSE IT WOULD REMIND ME OF HOW I COULDN'T TASTE IT. ;-;

LOL. I've always loved hearing them talk about the foods, though half the time they cook things that make me go "I wouldn't eat that, but gosh it looks pretty." XD
