My day just got incredibly shitty. I went to check my bank account and find that it's negative $100. Turns out that I had misread the due date for my Columbia House obligation. I thought I had to buy the three DVDs by the 15th, so I let my brother talk me out of taking care of it on Saturday. Turns out it was due by the 5th. So I got charged $69,

I hope it gets straightened out soon. :C I fucking hate it when it happens, overdraft is the fucking reason why I don't have a bank account @ BoA or any place at all, thanks ~mum, & got evicted from my apartment 1 1/2 years ago. :/

Jw, did you go to the bank to argue yet? My cousin had a similar experience a while ago & he went to the bank, argued with them that it was a bad charge & they dropped the fee & charge, no questions asked. Idk if it could apply to your situation, or your banks policies, but idk it could help...?

Aww, thanks. Fortunately, between a couple friends who could loan me money, I've got enough to cover it. Now I just have to wait for it to transfer from paypal to my bank account.

I'm not going to argue it with the bank because I had prior notice. But, I am going to call Columbia House tomorrow and see if I can't get them to at least send me 3 DVDs for what they charged me since I misread the due date.
