I'm stuck in the States because of this volcano ash thingy. No idea when I'll get back to Oxford, and I have no books with me save a copy of Foucault's "Discipline and Punish," which I don't even feel like writing about in my exam next week anyway. WHAT THE HELL.

Oh no! Obviously you're not the only person affected by this, but it must be incredibly frustrating nonethless...I hope it clears up soon. Isn't there anything you could read online for revision? I know it's not the same, but it'd be better than nothing.

If you miss yr Collection, you will have literally the most cast-iron excuse ever. There might be stuff you could access through weblearn for revision too - also if yr laptop has VPN, then you can just power through articles and stuff. Not as good as real books, but better than nothing!

Oh- if this means you're definitely missing out on revision time it might be worth emailing your uni to let them know? Would any of your tutors be able to send you things/can you access notes online? Man, that's a fail of a situation.
