Victor, who had been lingering in the infirmary mainly to ensure that he had a full day to fulfill Eddie's points system, was fairly obviously surprised by Drake's sudden appearance.

"I do not know!" Victor said quickly. To be entirely honest, he'd never paid much attention to the non-humans that came to the infirmary. "If he has been injured, no doubt he will be present... somewhere. Indeed, the doctors may be undertaking his treatment as we speak."

Victor reflected for a second that he probably should have paid more attention to who went in the infirmary when.

"Maybe. I don't see him. The wardens aren't telling me what happened, just that he got hurt."

Victor looked concerned. He glanced around the infirmary, initially unsure of what he shall do.

"This may be true. He may be injured or even gone from this world." Victor paused. "But you must remember, this is the barge of which we speak. He will return to us, in time, no matter what the injury he has suffered."
