I'm home from UCLA for a few weeks. There is nothing like being told you are too medically compromised to be in a program that was supposed to be your last hope. Talk about feeling hopeless. Things will be okay.

WTF - so they won't help you because you're too sick?

OR - they won't help you because you're too sick to really help yourself?

Either way.. rediculous. They are medical professionals there to HELP you to get better. Maybe the break will be good for you though. I'm thinkin of ya.

ok...maybe I'm ignorant, but isn't the ucla program in a medical hospital? How can you be too medically compromised to be in a hospital?
:\ I'm confused. Have you thought about the kartini clinic in oregon-I know their ip program strictly accepts people who need med stabalization....

Are you going back? If not, do you have other places in mind?
Have you thought about NY-Presbyterian? http://www.nyppsychiatry.org/cli_ser_eat_dis.html?name1=NewYork-Presbyterian+Psychiatry+Alphabetical+Services&type1=2Select
I think they have free treatment.
