For those who didn't know, I up and moved to Seattle 6 months ago. I probably should've mentioned that.This company offered me a great job, and I just ran with it. (I think they had some kind of coupon, because we have a total of less than 30 people in the American office, and in the last year 6 have been hired from out of Michigan ( Read more... )

see, now I feel lioke a complete dick for not being able to wrangle a meeting just over a year ago. I'll NEVER go to Seattle if I have any say in the matter, but I could very well visit Ann Arbor in the next couple of months. Even though it's not on the coast, I think I actually LIKED it there. whereas, I've never been to seattle, but everybody I've ever sailed with from there/that area have been complete jag-offs.

In any case, I'm glad you sem to be enjoying it. The culture shoch is probably 50% of east-coast to west (for obvious geographical reasons)

But I don't care where or how, we WILL get wasted together some day. K?

I can very much see that. Did you get a grip on why they were jag-offs? Were they culturally and emotionally soft?

I so wanted to get an East Coast tour in, but there was no time. You sir, are still on the itinerary. Each day I'm there will consist of casually drinking an expensive bottle of scotch with complete disregard. I have a couple in mind.
