Do you know whether your family and friends are safe? My heart is with you. Doing what I can monetarily, too. Just want to make sure you're doing OK.

So far, everyone I know is fine. They're all in the North Island, but they felt the quake very strongly. I do have a lot of friends in Chch, but most of them have reported in safely.

If you know what area of Christchurch he's in, I might be able to provide some insight.

So far, everyone has checked in, and I'm praying the same goes for everyone else with friends and family in the area.

Last update from my parents is that the hospital is fine, damage wise, they have evacuated half of the patients, and are setting up triage centers in the city.

It happened in the middle of the day, so working at the hospital, he should be fine ^_^
