I feel like there should be a huge red warning outside the cinema. I knew that there was at least one sketchy guy in the film, but the trailers don't show you that EVERY MAN IS A RAPIST AND HE WANTS WHAT'S GOOD.

Urgh >< *hides under a blanket with you*

Yeah. Everything about that movie was absolutely odious.

It was, dude, and I'm sorry as fuck I didn't heed your warning. I was so sure it couldn't possibly be that bad...

I feel awful for giving you a glimmer of hope. :(

Aw baby, it's okay! Those action sequences were still the greatest thing I've ever seen, which I think makes it all the more awful that the rest of the film was so bloody repulsive!

(I still love boobies!)

That is exactly how I felt during that movie. D: We can hide together, Flatty.

Ugh, right? Like I came out of the cinema feeling kind of icky and disappointed, but it was like a slow, sickening realization of what I had just watched over the course of the night.

Now I'm kind of terrified at how many good reviews it's gotten from my friends.

As someone who *has* felt like a target since I was twelve, who's been enjoying getting older because that feeling is fading... I think I will pass. Thanks for the warning, brighteyes.

Me too. Not only does it kind of freak me out that a few people enjoyed it, but over the course of making the movie, no one thought to say 'Uh...guys? I think we've surpassed our rape quota...'

Feeling this way is awful. Really, really awful. Stay far away from this moving, darling.
