soo. here is what im thinking. college visit november 8. tristan has no desire to go to school on his birthday, so he plans on visiting fau and enjoying fort lauderdale or boca raton, depening on which campus is picked. it'll be fun so let's go.

Not kidding, dude. I don't know who instilled into your mind that it's a halfway decent school. This is how it is in the east coast: if you don't make it to FSU, UCF, or UF, you go to FAU or BCC. It's quite simple. It's an awful, awful school.
Do what you will, though. It'll be right on par with an Edison education.

To make this comment not just a diatribe on FAU, I'll add something with a little more substance. Sorry to the feisty ones.
Boca Raton is rich-kid oriented. Town Center is a beautiful mall, though. Methinks there's even a Louis Vuitton store there. Fort Lauderdale beach is nice, but the city itself isn't too exciting. I say go to Boca.
