On my trip on Monday to Syracuse I saw an amazing pro-life billboard. I will have to paraphrase it because I can't recall the exact number, but the punchline is generally the same

i think we all are then. but if you think about it, most every single religion (including and especially christianity) is anti-women, so i guess misogyny is the way of the lord. that completely changes the billboard interpretation altogether.

i saw this insance pro-life commercial last night that had a bunch of women saying how getting an abortion didn't solve one problem, it created MORE problems. and yes, i'm sure some women will have problems coping with an abortion because a decision like that must be gut wrenching and terrible to make but i HATED this commercial because it was saying "NO MATTER WHAT, IF YOU GET AN ABORTION YOU WILL ATTEMPT SUICIDE AND BE DEPRESSED FOREVER AND NEVER BE NORMAL AGAIN."

i think if nothing else, it shows the humanity of the women who have abortions. i really despise seeing signs on churches about saving unborn children's lives, like it was that easy of a decision. if you are 15 with no license and no job and your parents just make the bare minimum in order to NOT receive welfare, then you're fucked. yeah, maybe you shouldn't be having sex to begin with because you are a child, but let me tell you, if you have that kid it will be in the same cycle as you. even still with women in their 20s and 30s, they may have jobs and apartments and health insurance, but i honestly haven't met a financially secure woman under the age of 35 who wasn't married. how do you think they will manage to raise that child when they can hardly pay their rent each month?
