damn you news
so, it's kind of weird how the world works. we are on our 3RD mining incident in a month and about 40th child abuse story on the news. i know that the news likes to report things that will get people's attention because the media is really out to get advertising money based on their ratings, but come on. give me something new to chew on. let's

1. Sheep-they dont care about what the govt does, and fail to see how the world affects them
2. People who are concerned but feel they can't do anything no matter how hard they try because of corruption and the infintesmal influence of the money given to congresspeople by lobbyists
3. People who try to make a change, but in the end don't really make a difference anyway
I bet you can guess which one I am, especially from my desc. of the 3rd one :)
But yea, the whole media thing... that's why I don't rely on my news just on the TV media, because they are biased; not meaning in political view but biased in what they choose to report and not to report on. So they choose to report on stupid crap, while there's more important things happening in the world.
Read the Times... it's way more informative than any other News media outlet I've found thuse far.
