Love is in the air

Though personally I am, sadly, currently involved in the end stages of what's been a tumultuous and somewhat unhappy love story, it's still Valentine's Day, and I'm still on a mission to make this a day more about bigger and better love than the pink greeting card kind. I don't suppose I can say anything more than what I said in last year's post, so I'd direct you there if you felt like some further reading.

If you don't, though, then let me just say this: to all my friends, cohorts, companions, and confidants out there, I hope my nigh-absence doesn't cast major doubt on my feelings toward y'all. I'm finding it ever-more challenging to connect with people these days, and I know that's not exactly part of a successful recipe for human relationships. But I am what I am. And I am someone who still appreciates the swelling of value and quality that so many of you bring into my life. I can't really say I have a life full of excitement for the time being, but no matter what, I still enjoy a heart full of warm and happy memories, and you've all been a part of that in some way or another.

So I hope each and every one of you can take some time today and feel the love. If you're so inclined, even take a little more time and spread it around. You all deserve it. Happy Valentine's Day, everybody.
