My first year is almost over, and as I look back over my organizational mistakes of the year, there's one thing that keeps haunting me

I know you said you don't want to carry things around, but what about something small like this? It can stand up like an easel to put on a desk so the kids can see it, but isn't too big. And because you wouldn't be posting it on a wall, it'd probably be easier to remember.

Or, an online calendar? Do your classrooms have a computer?
