Mom and Dad came through okay, with no problems. Saturday, I returned the excess supplies to The Laminate Store, and picked up the right materials to finish the job. In all, I received about $290 back for the error. Not too bad. The flooring guy visited again on Thursday, and the baseboards are now finished. Unfortunately, The Laminate Store sold me the wrong materials to handle the bits where the fireplace and the bookcase in the den meet the new flooring, so . . . there's another visit in my future, and another run out to Duluth to return and pick up more items. 22 ( Read more... )
