Wheel Throwing - Students learn the basics of wheel throwing and experiment with making a variety of forms including bowls, plates, mugs, and vases. Glazing techniques are also covered. Most students produce a large number of finished pieces. Course cost does not cover clay.

Oooo, glass fusion! That sounds neat! I've always wanted to do wheel throwing, though, but I heard that the class was surprisingly difficult. Not sure what was difficult about it...maybe the teacher grades on skill (which would suck) but I suppose if you were taking it pass/fail that wouldn't matter.

Actually, I don't believe that they grade. It kinda sounds like it's just an activity people can do. But I'll have to make sure. They both do sound like a lot of fun, I've been feeling a lil art-sy lately :-D
