take away 3 and 6. those are not love. but there are all different kinds of love. friend/family love. lustful love. and true love. for true love i would go with number 1. it should be something that you cannot put into words because what you feel is so amazing! that is love.

i love you!! what kind of love? id say....number 3 =P

Okay, so number 1 is a for sure keeper, I was thinking the same thing. And definitely no 3 and 6.... But out of 2, 4, and 5, which is the second one you'd pick, as I need two options...

I love you too, beautiful lady! I totally dig the sexual passion going on!

Oh, and of the point form list of words, which of those 10 would you eliminate?

i agree take away 3 and 6.

but love is different for every relationship.

i wouldn't choose any above. for me love is a connection that you and your lover are tied together spiritually, intellectually, physically. There is electricity. comfort. pain.

if you love someone you get more angry at them then anyone else. and if you love someone goddamn they can just make you crazy.

love in insanity. but it is worth it.

I definitely agree about love being absolute insanity. When you're so in love with someone, feeling such a passionate desire for another, it's all encompassing, and you let it take your head for a complete spin.

That being said, the performance project I'm working on is relying on standard dictionary definitions of the terms listed above, so that's why I've narrowed it down to those 6 from the 12 initially listed.... I'm for sure eliminating 3 and 6 (I was already tentative about them) but out of the remaining 4, if you had to pick only 2, which would you pick? I'm definitely going with #1, but out of 2, 4 and 5, am unsure which other one to pick....

And, out of the point form list of 10 words, if you had to pick one that didn't seem as fitting, which one would it be (as I need to eliminate one of those as well...)?

PS - Thanks for the advice!!

I'd take 1, and 5 , and I would probably eliminate the word honest. Love requires trust, but it seems that it doesn't necessarily compel us to be honest (with ourselves or the other party, although we're always trusting that they are being honest........ it can be a vicious cycle.... )

Love does however introduce a strong bias. Any chance the word bias can be added to that list , lol.

Thanks so much for replying, by the way. And I went with 1 and 5. :) And as for the word to eliminate, I'm getting rid of faithful. All the other words can relate to a loving/committed relationship, or a friendship, close bond, etc... whereas faithful implies an involved relationship only, in my opinion.

Oh bias. <3

hey no problem ... good choices with 1 and 5, but maybe i'm being bias as those were my choices lol.

i sort of disagree about the word faithful, and to elaborate i suppose that means how we choose to define the word...

i dont necessarily feel it implies a strictly involved relationship. the same way a lover can be faithful by not getting involved with anyone else, friends can be faithful to their friends by always being there for them standing up for them, backing them up, showing loyalty to their friendship, etc, the same way a family member can be.. but anyway thats just my view...

now I must ask, what exactly is this for?

Wow. Well put. I was obviously in my own little world and not thinking clearly. You have my mind changed, and I'm going with my initial words, which included faithful as opposed to respect. <3 ( ... )
