The gospel reading this morning, for All Saints' Day, was the story of Lazarus being raised.  I really like the story - it has a lot to say about liberation, life, death not having the final word.  Carrie Newcomer has a song about Lazarus as well that I only just started listening to a couple months ago.  It offers a different POV - Lazarus' own (

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds also have a song about Lazarus. It's... different, I'd have to say, from the traditional Lazarus story, but I thought you'd like to read the lyrics because they're actually really good. Also, I'll link the video too, because the music to go along with is badass
