im am so ready toleave this town and go to westren and be free of this lame environment all the lame bands all the e drama i wont miss it at all only my love and my family im sick of the crappy venues and the bands gettin screwed over im happy project peace is finally out of it. hippys are sour!!!!! i need to save up for a bike cause i want one

I think what Laura (owner of Project Peace) was awesome. That girl didn't know any of the bands but somebody asked her if they could play there and she took a chance and said yes. It wasn't her fault the place was shitty for shows, she wasn't into the scene, she couldn't afford to make it for shows. Point is it wasn't made for shows ..it was a shop that she let kids use for shows. She let kids use it when everybody else stopped having shows because she thought it wasn't fair to the local bands around here.

Not liking her or Shane or Project Peace because they are "hippies" is beyond lame.

Maybe I say this because she has been my friend for so long but I thank her for what she did. Had she not let bands play there Springfield would have been an even worse town for shows and it would have gone through quite a dry spell for a quite a few months.
