Being followed by overprotective parents is not fun. Not fun at all. My friend was late so I had to wait until Saturday to get away from my parents. In the meantime my mother gawked at all the scantily clad and the ill-fitted. She was constantly whispering in my ear about this person or that person. Needless to say my Dad was perfectly fine with it

I love how you can make your own clothes. I have to buy clothes from all the lolita sites in order to be able to dress up like that. Good job! I love your embroidery.

Thank you very much. It really wasn't that hard. The skirt was the first thing I had made in years and only second thing I'd sewn. I had sewing in sixth grade for a month and all we did is make a square pillow. The top that I made came out a bit strange looking but it's still ok to wear to a con. I'm not sure if I'd actually wear it in public. It's a bit stiff since it's 2 layers fused together so the shape isn't as nice as it should be and I look a bit fat in it plus no bust (not that I had much of one to begin with lol). Unfortunately I haven't made any more lolita clothes. A combination of lack of time and priority levels. I actually really want to buy a certain dress since I probably wouldn't be able to match plaid very well but my mother would kill me if she knew how much it was.

Well, good job for your second time sewing! I have to get a sewing machine first to even start trying. Lol... I don't have much of a bust either. I'm thinking of getting a gothic lolita outfit as well... it's also quite pricy. yea... unfortunately, you need a lot of dough in order to dress gothic lolita well. It's even pricy to dress gothic lolita with ugly outfits...-___- Which I soon found out after I ordered some stuff from a site.
