Sometimes I look in the mirror and I don't recognize the person staring back at me. I want so badly to change. I keep trying to apologize to Kirsten, as if that can somehow make up for what I've done. But no matter how sorry I am, no matter how much I wish I wasn't so horrible, it can't make something that happened un-happen. Time only moves

Don't worry aboutit. If she is really your freind then an issue so small as ones sexuality shouldn't be a problem. And well if it is then is that person going by their morals or are they being close minded to the point where they aren't truly your freind unless you are what they want you to be?

Write a letter, like you did here saying how hard this is for you because you love her as a friend and can't stand the idea of losing the friendship. Be willing to take time. Give her all your feelings on paper so instead of immediatly responding or you getting attacked or having to defend yourself. She has time to digest it and then come to you. Good luck!
