[The time to challenge the third Gym had come. Shiraishi's as prepared as he can be.
First up is Whitney's Girafarig versus Kenya the Starmie. Both of them are half-psychic, but Kenya is faster and more awesome so he wins this round easily.
Clefable comes up next from Whitneys side and Shiraishi changes his Pokémon to Yukari the Vileplume. This takes a while longer, but with some Sleep Powder and Giga Drains Yukari is victorious.
Whitney's last Pokémon is a Miltank. Onbin the Dragonite is sent out. With a few strong hits, the fight is over.]
Aahn, Ecsta-
[The catchphrase is interrupted by Whitney, who starts crying. Uh oh.
Even if Rise had warned him about this, it's still rather shocking and makes him feel awkward.]
Ca-Calm down Whitney-san, it's not that bad.
[... oh, boy. She's crying even more.
Eventually he'll get the badge and other things from Whitney, though. It just... takes a while.]

[A good video feed starts witha a happy smile, right? Well, here's Shiraishi's who's currently resting in a room. It's been a long day, after all. First the Gym Battle, then playing around with the Pokémon and then his own training...

[He puts the badge away back to the other two and then he smiles a bit more awkwardly.] Whitneys speech after the match was rather... unique and unexpected, even if I got a forewarning. I didn't think Gym Leaders would cry. At least not that openly... or that much.
[It's one of those memories that stay a while, that's for sure.]
Well, next Gym would be in Ecruteak City. I think I'm going to stay in Goldenrod for a little while longer before continuing on, though. So if anyone wants to meet up for some tea or something, I'll be around.
