So I was going to try and finish up Heritage and work on that ridiculous Star Wars/Supernatural epic that I started working on ages ago, and then I found this and my brain turned into mush while dreaming about Burn Notice. This was written after the first time I saw "Friends Like These."

Thanks! I think that bit of the episode is probably the part that stuck with me the most after watching the whole series (up until now) in one go. I'm rewatching more slowly now, so we shall have to see what sticks this time around!

See, after I saw that episode, I thought to myself "I bet that's the one she wrote her ficlet for"...and I was right!

I love this. There was so much happening in that moment and you've captured it quite nicely here. I love the shift from memories of broken family to the feeling that this is normal and what his life has become. So true.

I love them so much. But mostly I love Michael so much. There are so many layers to that character that I just love seeing on screen. And it doesn't hurt that he's beautiful. :-)
