Just got through Transformers 3 (and I own and enjoy the first two) and this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen--plotting: terrible, acting: terrible, action scenes: sloppy and terrible. I am so sooo glad that I didn't pay to see this pile of stinking crap.

Another friend said it was really good. Darn! Now I don't know what to do. The hubby and I were thinking about going to see it.

I've heard it's worth it for the 3D? That you can basically skip the storyline and just watch the effects. Let me know your thoughts if you see it!

This is what I posted on my lj:

A friend offered to babysit so we went to see Transformers 3. I didn't think it was as terrible as some reviews make it out to be. If I feel like I wasted the money I spent, it's a terrible movie. I didn't feel like I wasted my money. It is what it is. Cotton candy for the brain. And I do love cotton candy every now and again.

I will say this: I could give a flying fig about the new love interest. Just no. The actress was fine IMO and pretty enough. I just don't see why we should give a damn about her. Oh, and they need to fire the person that supposed to check for continuity like making sure that character A has on the same thing from scene to scene if it's the same day and there is not call for the character to have changed her shoes. I lost count how many times that happened. Oh one more thing, for as much as I liked all three movies (the first being the best), I hope they give it a rest.

We didn't see it in 3D. I heard it wasn't worth it.
