Okay, I need an opinion on these two poems I wrote for my creative writing class. I need something to submit to a poetry contest, because we are supposed to submit at least one piece, and these are my two best. My sister just called a few minutes ago because Derek, my nephew, was asking about me. She put him on the phone and he panted wetly for a few seconds, then said, "Hello!" in the cutest little-boy voice you can imagine.

It looks like I'm going to Wesleyan.

I used to hate it but I kind of don't anymore.

Today I sneezed in perfect unison with someone in my Psych class. It was one of the weirder moments of my life.

Today's regatta was absolutely horrifying. I've been damn cold before, but never so cold that I actually begged for the sweet release of death. Until today, that is.
