What American accent do you have?

I guess this is pretty accurate for me, as I'm originally from Florida and am currently living in the Western US.

I'm often told though that there's something peculiar about my accent which is kind of hard to place. I remember once that somebody heard my accent and asked me if I was from the Netherlands, which confused me greatly.

Apparently, I do, in fact, have a "Midland" (or "Midwest," as it's usually called) accent. According to the survey, though, that's "just another way of saying 'you don't have an accent.'"
