Advent Calendar December 10

December 10

I just returned from Joreks and Angies place and out Spell-jammer campaign. We have finally found out what the theme of our campaign is: High Adventure and Tough Choices. Jorik is doing a great job of keeping us on our toes. Our overlooking something very obvious (for an experiences space traveler) did cost the lives of eight men of our crew. One of them  a rival/friend of our characters. On the other hand we misled our powerful enemies in a ingenious way sending them on a merry chase across Realmspace. Then we landed on a frontier island for provisions, water and air and some trading. We quickly realized that the village was dieing in the slow way villages die, when the next generations wander off to pastures more green. When one of their young men asked to be taken on bord we said yes of course even though we knew we were taking one of the last youngsters away from them.
I am under the impression that Angies character Tjorben, a young barbarian on his quest for his true name, will only grow on those choices. Even now he has become a strong captain. I fear however for Falk, my Swashbuckler, who started out as a romantic hero kind like the young D'Artangan and with his crusade against slavery is already becoming more like Zorro with a tendency towards Batman. I hope he wont break on the foolish promises he has little chance of keeping now. We will see...
Great story so far.

Should I tell of our great Engel campaign as well?

I really love BBC. Again and again I discover their Astonishing Sense Of Humor.

This one is for  Ariel. Check out the Red Squirrel Extreme Assault Course.

And this is for lyorn Check out the Amazing Raven Intelligence Test.

Not from BBC but this one is for Just-A-Raccoon. She might appreciate the style.

We were thinking on planning something for New Years Eve... It is really too bad IKEA closes so early because that might have been the solution. Brilliant prank!

And finally some dating tips.
