Just a quick note to say I'm here in Perth and it's all good. I finally got to use the internet at Philippa's place. I live in Viveash which is out in the bush about 5 minutes from Midland - it's about a 15 min bike ride to the Opera Studio which is cool. My flatmate, divamelisande is very cool and she's been showing me around and helping me get sorted

Glad to see you have settled in OK. Good luck with this new adventure, I am sure you will do well. In fact, I am sure you will knock them for six.

Over the course of this year you will, no doubt, be making me a little homesick as you write about your experiences of Perth. I was born in the Midland Junction hospital and grew up in the town of Kalamunda, just up the hill a bit. And went to Governor Stirling High School, just down the road. Ah, the old stomping ground, I haven’t been back there in close on twenty years.
