Hi Fleet,
Meg Writer in-world, Meg Ormiston RL, here to welcome you to the world of blogging. Thanks for sharing information in a variety of formats, sometimes in-world information goes by so fast it is hard to process it all!
Good luck keeping up with blogging, I struggle with that unlike so many of my neighbors in-world!
Meg

Are you using Blender for your sculpties or a more expensive package? And GLIntercept is designed to intercept and copy SL graphical data such as object textures, isn't it?

Really just messed with the free Fruit ones you get in the Libary + a few Scupt textures from the Wiki I can see some potential for modified Apple shapes in AV making [Better shins etc] but haven't really tried it yet

Yeah, GL intercept copies all the SL graphics in your chache and the area you are in.. I did this in order to get fur textures + AV skins to mod and play around with, but it collects an AWFUL lot of crap you don't want in the process and the stuff you DO want you then have to flip + save as BMPs etc THEN upload to SL etc.... So I'm starting to wonder if its more hassle than its worth or worth biting the bullet just for a few bits I'm after

I see that there are products to help with Sculptie construction on SLExchange already, though I know you don't like paying for anything on principle. :)

So GL Intercept stores all the textures in the area onto a folder on your hard disk outside of SL? I can see why it'd be worthwhile but I guess trawling through all those texture files for the few bits you want might be a chore that one would want to save for a dull Sunday afternoon!

What does the fellow in the suit hope to achieve scientifically by sitting a squirrel on a petri dish? Analysis of squirrel poop?
