lol. It probably seems like I type with my eyes closed sometimes. I'm sure I'll reread this later today and find all kinds of mistakes and screwed up tenses.

Anyway, no rush. I don't seem to be in any hurry to get these out so I won't take off points for delayed reviews. lol

I think I AM typing with eyes closed this time, since it's about 4:00 a.m. How is it possible to bring this much work home? Yeah, rhetorical question. The answer scares me.

It went off into a direction other than I originally intended. I was going to jump ahead a bit and have Ryan already with a new family and Sandy working to get him back to the Wards but that not happening and then having him and Kirsten step up and take Ryan in but I couldn't really figure out a good way to keep Carson from eventually getting Ryan back. So this is what happened when I scrapped what I had written and started anew. lol.

I just stepped up the timeline a little to get him to the Cohens sooner rather than later.

I also was originally going to work in a little canon and have Carson and Luke go on to Portland as a result of all of this but I really kinda like them with Ryan so I decided to keep them around and am going to send Meredith away instead. lol.

Yes, I'm a bit of a schizophrenic writer and change direction constantly as I'm writing a chapter lately. Which is why it takes me a while to update these days.
