A Poem - By the Fleet

Soul Lost

You want it to go away now,
The pain, the suffering.
Even now you feel their eyes
Judging, hating, wondering
Pitying.
A thousand times and a thousand times over,
Wondering whats left in the world
For someone like you.
Feeling like a burden and can't think straight.
Its those eyes again, filled with sorrow and pain.
People are there for you, don't you know?
Better to gain help and a friend,
Than lose a life and a soul.

The person who inspired me to write this can be very depressing, but I don't know if she's thought of suicide or not. Regardless, I did this because of her. Sorry if that didnt sound right, I had a hard time trying to find the right phrase without sounding wierd. Maybe I'll use it in my Poetry project, if my teacher will accept it.
