I thought that I'd let you in on my writing technique, just to show you how it's done.

Step 1: Open a work in progress document, one where you've maybe got 1.5k written.

Step 2: Read through what you've got so far.

Step 3: Make a few minor edits as you go.

Step 4: Stare at the last line you've got written for two, perhaps three minutes.

Sounds very similar to my drawing process...Only I'd add, then start a whole new picture, but after the initial sketch stop, then go online and read fan fiction.
