People go crazy when you put a lot of them in a small spot. They develop unhealthy societies and unhealthy mindsets. Add a backdrop of general cultural problems and individual predisposition, and it becomes no surprise that their pain is sometimes translated into action.

No one goes out and starts shooting people just because of their own pain. They would need a hell of a lot of hatred, and a complete lack of empathy for the pain of others.

As much as I disdain the lunacy which is western culture, events like this are both sickening and shocking.

I just don't get it... I mean I'm trying to be compassionate and find things to blame, blame society, blame the system, blame this,that and everything else. But to tell you the truth I'm just really angry that this one person hurt so many other people. But thats probably the wrong way to look at it.
