I last said I would write about my trip to Paris and the ball at Versailles, so here's a quick note. (ETA: hahaha! It was going to be quick. See under the cut...)

Thank you! The brocade was so hard to photograph. The silver glints and shines in person. I'll make something else with it eventually. :)

Aww. Thank you very much! I hesitated about sharing my complaints, but identifying short-comings is part of the learning process so the next one will be better. I hope there is a next time!

What a wonderful experience! The first time you make something so specialized can be so hard, but you really look lovely. I don't see any of those issues.

It was really special and I feel so lucky to have experienced it. I was 95% happy with the fit and I think that goes a very long way toward making an outfit look "right". Next time I can focus on other aspects! Thanks for the compliment and vote of confidence. :)
