I’m more than a little anxious today. History department faculty/graduate party yesterday left me reminded of my social awkwardness. Great. So many writing deadlines, and one I missed, which also meant missing helping a friend. Big changes on the horizon and until a plan gets settled, I’m adrift in what-ifs. Oh man, grad school applications are the second worst! (First worst being grant/funding applications. ;p) Best on getting through yours! And I hope you are able to enjoy your conferences and they get you all inspired for more grad work.

Thanks! I think I had a break-through on a passage I was laboring on yesterday, because I woke feeling less anxious today. Maybe now the words will flow and I can finish this draft... /fingers-crossed :)
