but is it sexist to call an unpleasant woman a slag? (I'm not sure and I would usually only use the term jokingly with friends or in the "to slag something off" sense).

It all depends on context and in this particular case it wasn't said in jest.

I know but as insulting an unpleasant as it is to call somebody that, is it sexist? Because if one woman is calling another woman that, where is the sexism?

Hello! how are you? I know i'm not... using my livejournal login to comment... as i have forgotten my password! eek. I'm usually glassdolly. And... i'm in Australia... so that might give it away who i am! I'm so sorry i have been out of contact for so long. I love your new live journal photo! It's so good. I'm excited about seeing Pan's Labyrinth, as that is just coming out here too. The English Big Brother made news here too. Yes, is interesting. On the news on tv and in the papers. It's the same old play that I'm working on, the one that I adapted nearly 3 years ago now.
Would be great to hear from you, hope you're doing well but it sounds like it.
