hi! (waves--i just got back from visiting three more churches, a martket, and a scuola grande, and none of the dinner places open til 6:30, and it suddenly started pouring rain, and this internet cafe happened to be on the way again, and i realized i hadn't written my dad at all, and venice just works out nicely like that)ù

nono, i went to Italy with Lindsey and Matt. we did two nights three days in Rome, one night in Florence (that was nice because suddenly the three of us had a private room with actual beds, not bunks or the funny tilted thing i's sleeping on--though it's really the floor that slopes, not the bed--anyway), and then Lindsey did two nights in Venice with us before leaving for prague on the super posh Orient Express, and matt stayed for another night after that, and left yesterday morning cause he's got a friend from germany coming to prague. and i wanted more time in venice, and venice alone is really hard to explain in words.

...hawaiian? i tend not to associate luaus and surfers with spooky. and oh, that's right, you live there now. lucky you, not having to walk to and back--the perks of living in ML? but totally go with schoolgirl. it worked for me, and it sounds like it's now got controversy associated with it back there at swat.

do you know what? i was thinking of that, and stood around an extra fifteen minutes hoping to catch a glimpse of him, just to get a picture to show you. instead, all i saw was Jeremy Irons in a curly wig going out to sea in a gondola, while another man rowed with a violin, and one of the extras who i thought from a distance (and with my crappy eyesight) could be heath ledger stared oddly at me.
