[There's something different about Cooro today. It's definitely not the hair. Or the clothes. But it might, just might - be the addition of large, black wings, along with matching black feathers on his arms.

He's given out many bad things. I believe it can be assumed that these gifts were pranks, and the town is behind it, not any Santa Claus.
