Bush vetoed the bill to bring the troops home, upsetting many democrats and shocking just about nobody. I have to wonder if there was anyone who ever even took the bill seriously. It was hardly publicized and what we did hear of it was almost in passing, a sidenote on the evening/nightly/world news. I suppose the lack of coverage of the 2nd vetoe ( Read more... )

Everyone in my family has been sick with some sort of stomach virus this weekend. It started when Josh came over on Friday and got violently ill, throwing up all over the carpet in the living room. I avoid watching FOX news. I think it is completely unbalanced, unfair, and it puposefully misleads the American people. They are more than conservative - they are basically liars. I don't know how they get away with being on TV. If you don't believe me, see for yourself: watch Outfoxed on google videos, or order the DVD.

I woke up late again today. Something is wrong with my alarm clock. It isn't going off when it is supposed to. I still made it to work on time but I was off all day. I didn't get to eat breakfast so I was pretty hungry for most of the morning. The day turned out to be okay once I finally woke up. Maybe tonight I should get to bed a little earlier!

I'm home gearing up for LOST on abc at 10pm. I swear I'm addicted to that show. I have it DVR'd too, just in case I miss something important and need to rewatch a scene. I remember the days when I used to be able to go out four nights in a row and think nothing of it. I'd also be able to wake up for class on Monday and go through my day as if I'd just had a restful and quiet weekend. Those days are long gone. Finally, I'm on Spring Break. Well, not really. But kind of. I am on SPRING BREAK from grad school for the next 2 weeks! Thats right, BSC currently has a 2 week spring break.
