Yesterday I marched in the Boston Women's March! Estimates are now that 125,000 people were there. It was my first such event ever, which is why I'm posting about it -- so I can tag it with my "firsts" tag -- and I did in fact find it worthwhile and uplifting. yeah, that middle paragraph. i get that. maybe i've gotten enough of it long enough that i just ignore it and find my own way to carry on with the activism i care about.
(but it's still a buzzkill and something that kinda shuts down a conversation)
