Firstly -- old lady advice here. Secondly -- May I advise punching people?

First with the manager, I'd say let your boss know what happened. Don't complain. Just be like, "I wanted you to know that Loser McGee had me doing XYZ the other day and I had no idea what I was doing, since I wasn't trained in it." If you couch it like you're just passing on information, that tends to get taken better than "OMG. I HAD TO DO THIS THING AND IT SUCKED AND I HATE YOU ALL AND MY SHOES HURT!"

Secondly, my view is that if your flatmate left it there, fair game. CONGRAULATIONS, YOU HAVE A TV SET AND BREADMAKER! His shit, he's responsible for it. Period. Going off on you just makes me think he needs to get his big boy pants on and shut the fuck up.

But again, old lady talking here.

As for the fic, people are trying to be nice. It's all in how the critique is couched. At least she said she liked it. :)

May I also suggest learning to make sugar glass so you can break something when you're in a bad mood?

Punching people sounds great!

Firstly, it sounds like a plan. I think that the deputy manager knows about it (because she had a discussion with my boss as to whether I should go up there). I don't hate the store, far from it, just this manager really knows how to annoy me.

Yay, TV and Breadmaker, wohoooo!!!!!!!!! I'm tempted to sell it, then be nice and take the money made off stuff he owes me. Everyone's happy.

Fic-wise, I know that she was great about it. I'm not complaining there, that's how it should be done, and I was really grateful about it, because it's helping me. Normally it's something I'd blow to MASSIVE proportions, but I didn't. And I'm kinda wondering if I've done the same with the flatmate especially.

Sugar glass sounds fun and tasty. I tend to rant toooooo much.
