Bold the ones you’ve read COMPLETELY, italicize the ones you’ve read part of, and no cheating. Watching the movie or the cartoon doesn’t count. Abridged versions don’t count either. BTW, according to the BBC if you’ve read 7 of these, you are above the average.

My totals:

Completely read: 20

Started: 7

1 Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
2 The Lord of ( Read more... )

Yep, Funny story too. My mom was a high school librarian. I'd often go over after school or whatever and read while I waited for her to be done. Well, I was reading The lion, witch and wardrobe ..... I hadn't checked it out by the way. I just pulled it off the shelf and sat down nearby. Someone came in to actualy check it out. That student and the library assistant came over buzzed around, looked all over the shelves, left again, came back, looked at the shelves again and finally looked at what I was reading and leaned over to quietly tell me they needed the book I was reading (they knew me and knew I hadn't checked it out and what was going on). So I handed it over and having enjoyed the .... I dunno, 30 or 40 pages I'd read so far went and plucked the next one and went from there. Never really thought to go cover missed ground. I think I was like 8 or 9 then.
