I would love to watch many or all of these. I haven't seen Buena Vista or Sideways.

Watch Buena Vista while it's light outside. Drink some caffiene. I mean, it's a fascinating movie, with wonderful music all the way through, but the fact that it has subtitles and therefore constant reading all the way through, and the fact that the music is often very smooth and soothing, and the general pace of the film means that if you are anything like me, you will fall asleep. All three times you try to watch it.

I need to see Grizzly Man. Werner Herzog is awesome.

That Obscure Object Of Desire is quite good. I think there are better movies by the same director, but it's pretty entertaining.

Lilja 4-Ever sounds like the most depressing movie ever.

Sideways was...disappointing...

I don't know, I guess it was alright, I just thought it would be better.

Also add, 'Black Orpheus' to the list. The movie itself isn't that good, but the music is AWESOME!

Hey, I liked Black Orpheus. The Music may have been a large part of that, but I thought it was a decent re-telling of that myth. Plus, how much do I want to visit Brazil now?

sideways is about older people, which was my worry. it got a lot of good good reviews, though.

...as did black orpheus, at least by imdbers.

my sassy girl is the best romantic comedy; i love it. i'm so depressed they're remaking it. and i want to see man bites dog too. but i've never found it anywhere.

i think man bites dog may take some hunting because it seems like there's a fair bit of gruesomeness which might not get the approval of your local movie rental store. netflix has it. some day i do intend to try that out, but i am currently too impoverished.

glad sassy girl is good- i love the title
