I'll never let go!

I was going to write a long, melancholy entry about how I haven't visited Athens in over 3 months and that I'm longing for a stroll on north campus, a night downtown, crab rangoons from my favorite china buffet, a jog in the Botanical Gardens.... However, rather than bore the already dwindling LJ audience, I thought I'd refrain. That, and I'm ( Read more... )

See, that's sort of similar to how I feel about Titanic. It was supposed to be the greatest film ever, and somehow I just knew it would be a bit overhyped. I watched it and didn't actually mind the film, but after hearing how absolutely awesome everyone else in the world apparently thought it was, I made a couple of bets that I'd never watch it again... not out of spite for the movie, so much, but out of spite for how wonderful everything wrongfully thinks it is. :) Then again, I like the part of the movie where half the ship is nearly vertical ( ... )

However, me and an unnamed party were wondering why that fat bitch Rose wouldn't let Leo have a splinter of wood while they were floating around in the Atlantic. For God's sakes!

A question that I have always pondered and been annoyed by since seeing Titanic in the theatres an unmentioned number of times back in December of 1996.

As previously aforementioned....there's no such think as right or wrong. In love and life. It's what or who you hate the least. I seem to hate audiology less than other career paths. Patrick fits me because he annoys me less than most members of the opposite sex. I believe this outlook provides an overwhelming amount of comfort and disillusionment to the status quo idea of the "right" one. Right one schmight one. Go get yourself someone who doesn't annoy you as much and doesn't make you feel as shitty as everyone else does and that's your person. And while I believe this person may be me, our non-homosexual life partner arrangement will require some sort of financial backing. All included parties will bring their own spice to the table. I provide nubs, you provide monetary means of love!

Wait...why do I have to be financial support? I thought I could continue what I've been doing the duration of our friendship--mooching off your resourceful nature!

Btw, come back to Atlanta NOW. :(
